A Song sung by late Dr. D.G.S.Dhinakaran
Dr. D.G.S.Dhinakaran was the founder of both Karunya University and Jesus Calls ministry in India. This song is the theme song of Jesus Calls ministry. It talks about the call of God, who is wiping our bitterest tears, guarding us safe in His mighty hands. Yes, Jesus calls us all for a life of Peace, Joy and Happiness.
The following is an illustration written by Dr. D.G.S.Dhinakaran about the blessings people receive while hearing this song:
Several years ago, when I had been to a hill-station, a man greeted me with a garland of cardamom. He then narrated his story: "Sir, I am a cardamom merchant. I own big estates where we cultivate cardamom. I did not know the love of Christ and was living a worldly life. One year, the crops failed and I had a great loss. I was greatly worried and was planning to commit suicide. When I sat depressed, I heard you sing in a radio programme in Tamil. It was the theme song of Jesus Calls.
Wiping our bitterest tears,
Guarding us safe in His arms,
Bearing us through the most painful of losses, He
Surely restores us to safety and joy.
Jesus calls us all, Jesus calls us all.
And I was wonder-struck thinking, 'Is there a God who has so much concern for my losses? Who is this Jesus? What kind of a God is He who cares for me at this stage of my life?' Then I listened the message that you delivered following the message and was introduced to the love of Christ. The prayer that followed was exactly for me. That gave me a new hope in life and I gave my heart to Christ. Every week, I eagerly awaited your words about Christ and whenever you prayed, I would join you and pray with tears. My situation started to change. The following year was exactly opposite to the previous. Usually, the cardamom yields its fruit only at its apex, but this year, it was different; from the stem to its apex, the plants yielded fruits and the profit was hundred times. Today I am a completely changed man by the love of Christ. I am blessed because I am His child."
super...nice sir....
